CPAP Works. Most Patients
Just Aren’t Set Up to Succeed.
CPAP is highly effective—but nearly half of patients fail within a year due to poor setup and lack of support.
Most CPAP failures aren’t about the patient—they’re about the process. One-size-fits-all equipment, uncomfortable settings from day one, and little follow-up or guidance can lead to patients giving up—even though CPAP could work for them.
Rise Precision Medicine CPAP Concierge Service - $2325
Dr. Julia Whitaker and her team offer a personalized, high-touch program designed to help you succeed. We’ll guide you every step of the way with expert support, real-time adjustments, and data-driven decisions that offer the highest likelihood of success.
1. Start with Comfort — CPAP only works if you can actually sleep with it. We begin with an in-person setup where you’ll try several mask options and work with us to find settings that feel comfortable and natural from the start. Our goal is to create a setup you can realistically tolerate and use consistently — not just one that looks good on paper.
2. Optimize Gradually and Precisely — We use detailed downloads from your PAP device, including breath-by-breath waveform analysis and mask leak data, to fine-tune your therapy over time. Adjustments are based on both your data and how you feel, and may include changes in pressure settings, EPR, or even machine type (CPAP, BiPAP, or ASV). Many patients in Colorado experience central sleep apnea events related to altitude or treatment-emergent apnea, and we have extensive experience managing these complex cases effectively.
3. Verify Results with Testing — We take a data-driven approach so you can feel confident your treatment is truly working. Once your PAP data shows consistently stable breathing patterns and high-quality waveforms, we repeat sleep testing to objectively confirm that your sleep apnea is being effectively treated and that you are achieving meaningful physiologic improvement.
Sleep comfortably through the night.
