Personalized sleep testing matched to your unique sleep concerns.

Not all sleep problems require the same type of testing. At Rise Precision Medicine, we use multiple advanced at-home sleep testing options and match the test to the individual based on symptoms, goals, medical history, and the specific clinical questions we are trying to answer.

Our Sleep Testing Options

WatchPAT Home Sleep Testing - $250

WatchPAT is a convenient, streamlined at-home sleep apnea test designed primarily to evaluate for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The disposable device is mailed directly to your home, completed in a single night, and wirelessly transmits your results for rapid interpretation.

WatchPAT is often an excellent option for patients with a high likelihood of obstructive sleep apnea who want a fast, simple, and cost-effective evaluation.

Benefits of WatchPAT testing include:

  • Easy at-home setup

  • No return shipment required

  • Rapid turnaround time

  • Assessment of physiologic stress and sympathetic nervous system activation associated with sleep apnea

  • Convenient screening for moderate to severe OSA

Sleep Profiler Type 2 Polysomnography - $950

Sleep Profiler is a more advanced form of home sleep testing that collects significantly more physiologic data than standard home sleep apnea testing. In addition to measuring breathing and sleep apnea, this Type 2 home polysomnogram (PSG) includes EEG, EMG, and EOG signals, allowing us to evaluate sleep architecture and objectively measure sleep quality.

This provides a deeper understanding of how sleep apnea and other sleep disturbances are affecting restorative sleep.

Sleep Profiler testing may be recommended for patients with:

  • Insomnia

  • Unexplained fatigue

  • Fragmented or non-restorative sleep

  • Prior negative sleep testing.

  • Many women and younger adults continue to experience significant sleep-related symptoms despite “normal” sleep studies. In some cases, traditional testing may underestimate the impact of subtle breathing disturbances and sleep fragmentation because it does not directly measure sleep quality and sleep architecture with EEG-based monitoring.

With Sleep Profiler testing, we can evaluate:

  • Sleep stages and sleep architecture

  • Sleep continuity and fragmentation

  • Arousals and physiologic stress during sleep

  • The impact of breathing disturbances on sleep quality

The cost includes intake questionnaires to better understand your sleep concerns and 45 minutes to review the test results with Dr. Whitaker.

O2Ring Monitoring - $150

  • O2Ring monitoring may also be used for longitudinal assessment and therapeutic monitoring. This can help track overnight oxygen levels, pulse patterns, and responses to treatment over time.

O2Ring is commonly used to:

  • Monitor response to CPAP therapy

  • Assess overnight oxygenation trends

  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness

  • Follow physiologic changes over time

Sleep testing is available either:

  • through referral from a physician or healthcare provider
    OR

  • after completion of a sleep consultation with Dr. Whitaker

This ensures that the appropriate testing modality is selected and that results are interpreted within the context of your overall health and sleep concerns.

If you are unsure which testing option is appropriate, you may schedule a discovery call or sleep consultation to discuss your symptoms and goals.
